A Kenyan nonprofit at the intersection of climate action and public health — building resilient communities from the ground up.
Naeli Foundation was founded with a clear conviction: that climate change and public health cannot be addressed in isolation. In Kenya, the effects of a warming planet — prolonged droughts, devastating floods, rising disease burdens — fall hardest on communities that are already underserved.
We set out to bridge the gap between environmental action and health systems strengthening, working directly with the communities most affected. Our name, Naeli, reflects our deep roots in community — a commitment to nurturing resilience from within.
Today, we partner with local leaders, schools, health workers, and government agencies across Kenya's 47 counties, designing programmes that are evidence-based, community-led, and built to last.
"We don't bring solutions to communities — we build solutions with them."
